Kitchen Utensils At Nathaniel Hawthorne's Birthplace

A visit to the House of Seven Gables i
s an exquisite look into life in a first period mansion in Salem, Massachusetts. Or rather a first period mansion restored to its 18th century glory. What many people miss is the Nathaniel Hawthorne Birthplace on the same grounds.

The Hawthorne house is a sea captains house, much simpler, and more of a home for us regular folks. There the focus is on the kitchen, rather than the dining room. Just like at my house. Fine art print of cooking utensils at the Nathaniel Hawthorne Birthplace in Salem, Massachusetts. I don't know what these utensils are called, by I remember my dear old granny Bert using the same ones.
